内容简介:

The presentation will give a theoretical overview of the various computational methods implemented in the computer code FEKO (www.feko.info) for the solution of electromagnetic radiation and scattering problems. These include the Method of Moments (MoM) as applied to metallic and dielectric bodies, it accelerated version the Multilevel Fast Multiple Method (MLFMM), the Finite Element Method (FEM) and high frequency asymptotic methods (PO, UTD, RL-GO). In particular also the hybridisation of these will be discussed. Practical examples are used to illustrate the application of these methods to the solution of real world problems in the areas of antenna design and placement, electromagnetic compatibility, radar scattering, and bio-electromagnetics.

报告人简介:

Ulrich Jakobus received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He completed his Habilitation in 1999 and became Privatdozent for Radio Frequency Technology at the same university.
