内容简介:

A so-called “short-open calibration” technique has been successfully proposed for numerical de-embedding of various planar microwave circuits and discontinuities in the fullwave method of moments (MoM) framework. This SOC technique was initially proposed by the speaker in the late 1990’s and now it has been used in a few commercial fullwave MoM-based softwares with an advanced feature, namely, “self-calibrated port”. In this talk, the speaker will brief the milestone in development of this proposed SOC, and show its powerful capability in accurate/efficient de-embedding of various planar microwave circuits and discontinuities on microstrip, CPW and CPS. In addition to demonstrating the de-embedded equivalent models of these circuits, this SOC is further applied to de-embed the complex and frequency-dispersive per-unit-length transmission parameters of planar transmission-line EBG and metamaterials, aiming to provide a deep insight into the guided-wave characteristics in their bandgap and left-handed passband frequency ranges.

报告人简介:

祝雷 (Lei ZHU), 19857月毕业于南京工学院获工学学士学位, 19883月毕业于东南大学获硕士学位, 198910月获日本国文部省国费奖学金的全额资助,赴日本国立电气通信大学留学,于19933月获工学博士学位。19934月至19963月就职于日本国松下寿电子工业株式会社,任研究工程师。19964月至20006月就职于加拿大蒙特尔大学工学院,任博士后研究员。20007月至20138月就职于新加坡南洋理工大学电子电气工程学院任,任副教授。20138月起就职于澳门大学科学技术学院,任正教授,并将于20149月起担任澳门大学电气计算机工程系系主任。
